Who We Are

The Foothills Life Members Club, which is a part of the national TelecomPioneers,
is a network of retired Qwest (formerly US West) employees, and their families who
volunteer to address community needs.  We represent our companies', and
the industry's, commitment to responsible corporate citizenship.

Our club comprises basically the entire north half of the Denver Metro area.
We have our regular monthly meeting on the first Wednesday of each month,
and it is held in the Qwest building at 52nd & Zuni Streets.  We welcome anyone
from not only our club, but any Pioneer club, at our meetings.

TelecomPioneers is the largest industry-related volunteer organization in the world,
with chapters located throughout the United States,Canada and Mexico.

Founded in 1911, TelecomPioneers, formerly known as the Telephone Pioneers of
America, is comprised of nearly 620,000 current and retired telecommunications
employees who have joined together to  make their communities better places in
which to live and work.

Pioneers are people who want to give back to their community.  Our organization
allows you to utilize your own unique skills and interest to give back and make
your community a better place.
