Greetings!!!!

We still have many challenges to face as we work to complete the traditional projects we support and provide to our communities. Input and suggestions for projects and ways to support our communities are welcomed from all members.

This is the 100th year for Pioneers across the United and Canada. Read more about the events and opportunities at:  http://www.pioneersvolunteer.org.

The Wyoming Chapter is working on our Centennial project. We are assembling care packages for Wyoming deployed military servicemen and women. If you would like to make a donation for this project, please email us at pm1370@qwest.net.

I encourage everyone to volunteer for the Ride the Winds Bike-a-Thon that will be held in and around the Saratoga area August 6th and 7th this year.  Pioneers for the last 20+ years have manned the rest stops for bicyclists and flagged throughout the route. To volunteer, call Dave Bair at 307-634-1089.

Here is a helpful link for instructions on who to call and how to register to volunteer:http://www.qwestpioneers.org/chapters/wyoming/chpt120/important.aspx.

Go to this website to login to Volunteer Now and sign up to build your profile, volunteer and to report your hours: https://pals.pioneersvolunteer.org/VM/index.aspx. If you need assistance, click on the technical assistance button to open a ticket for help.

Be watching for more information on the annual state picnic that is usually planned during August in Casper.

Please remember to report your volunteer hours whether you're involved in an active Pioneer club or not. Instructions are included on our web site.

We welcome your participation and ideas!!!

Sincerely,
