On Friday morning, April 15th, 2011   6
6 children from the
New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired Preschool
in Albuquerque, NM thrilled to the sounds of beeping eggs at the NM Qwest Pioneers Easter Egg Hunt. Pioneers and school staff helped 4 groups of blind and visually impaired children search the school playground for the beeping eggs.  Many of these children have multiple impairments in addition to their visual impairment. Amid smiles and giggles, the children listened and cheered when they found the beeping eggs, which they traded for candy filled eggs. A terrific time was had by children and Pioneers alike.
It was the 5th year that Qwest Pioneers have provided this Egg Hunt.
The beeping egg was created by Qwest Pioneers in Denver, CO.
